Senior Network Engineer

Description   Summary The Senior Network Engineer's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, security, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Senior Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.   Areas of Responsibility Understanding of industry best practices and business requirements in order to gather data for analysis by conducting interview and independent research Analyzing, planning, testing, and implementation of the Network Security and network connectivity Design, implement and ensure that systems achieve 100% uptime 24/7/365 operational availability Act as technical project manager and responsible for project related communications to stakeholders Fully resolve problems with systems and technologies Participate in making decisions and determining actions independently and expediently to eliminate risks and ensure the continuity of business. Provide thought leadership and drive integration/deployment efforts associated with Cisco solutions to meet the desired objectives. Expert ability designing route/switch systems with deep knowledge of routing protocol optimization based on system and current requirements (BGP). Excellent understanding of Cisco firewalls Experience with SDWAN design and deploy with VeloCloud. Experience in NSX design and deploy Expert level in layer 2, layer 3 design and deployment. Must possess strong ability to visually represent proposed and approved architectures using graphics tools such as Visio. Must possess strong documentation skills Provide mentoring, knowledge transfer and professional development guidance to clients and peers as required. Actively pursuing new technologies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of systems Act to support all technical projects arising from the Project Management Office (PMO) Performing root cause analysis on systems issues and determine recommended solutions to resolve problems. Determine and decide when to escalate problems to vendors and ensuring resolution and reporting of resolution to stakeholders. Provide training and mentoring on problem identification, analysis and troubleshooting techniques and best practices to Operations teams. Design, implement, test and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery solutions, processes and procedures. Maintaining documentation of network, processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides and change management logs.   Qualifications   High School Degree or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT, with at least 7 years' experience of network architecture/design and engineering in a global WAN/LAN environment. Experience working with Service Providers Experience with 10Gig/40Gig technology Experience with Cisco Nexus platform experience to support the global network and its devices Protocols & Technologies: TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, NAT, 802.1Q, Rapid-PVST, Cisco vPC, IPSec, QoS, WAN Acceleration, SNMP, IPv6, VoIP, Cloud Services, Stateful Inspection, IPSec, SSL, LLDP, 802.1Q, DNS, DHCP, Digital Certificates, Access Control Lists. Expert in troubleshooting including packet analysis Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including Rapid Spanning Tree, Port Channels, virtual Port Channels, VLAN design and trunking. Expert knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols Experience in enterprise security principals and technologies. Ability to communicate effectively beyond his/her peers to broader non-technical audiences within the IT organization. Ability to develop policies and procedures to industry standards. Working within a global organization with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to take ownership of, and focus on, critical initiatives. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
