Sr. Developer

The Senior Developer will ensure that the AAR website is maintained and updated properly and in a timely manner. They will also ensure that the website is representative of the company and easily navigated by customers.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Maintain the AAR website.  Design, create new pages for the website.  Develop and promote new web based applications.  Design and create new web based forms for best customer support.  Deploy the files on the server using WS FTP.  Interact with the other divisions of the company for their web based application requirements.  All other duties as assigned.  CORE COMPETENCIES:  Commitment to company values and ethics  Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately  Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills  Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared Initiative: plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions, prepares for problems or opportunities in advance, undertakes additional responsibilities  Creativity: makes constructive suggestions and creates novel solutions to problems; evaluates new technology as potential solutions to existing problems Qualifications   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Knowledge and training of the following:  HTML and Javascript  Web development tools like ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, Frontpage  Programming language like Java  Some Database like Access  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
