Operations Analyst Manager

  Performs a wide variety of tactical and technical assignments to include: extract and analyze data, update accounts, make recommendations to improve business processes within functional department and compose letters, memos, proposals, and reports. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises tactical judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact costs and/or quality of service within the functional area.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages projects for internal and external customers, influencing non-direct report resources to achieve objectives with minimal oversight Assists in the development of all types of budgets and financial analysis Analyzes cost/revenue/utilization patterns, program expenditures, and prepares budget reports for management Uses various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports with minimal oversight and guidance Serves as the department Subject Matter Expert for use of Microsoft Excel and Access applications Applies a working knowledge of aerospace industry norms, applicable laws and regulations May work on confidential or sensitive information, typically of a technical or proprietary nature May assist with customer proposals, vendor sourcing, and quotation solicitation and analysis - Identifies issues and works to proactively provide alternative solutions Advises extraordinary or problematic cases to site manager and presents recommended resolutions Performs diversified duties including report preparation, data collection, trend analysis, reconciliation reports, and business and process documentation Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the company and customer; maintains professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities Maintains reports and performs administrative and technical duties that require knowledge of the department, facility, and the company along with current policies, practices and procedures Possesses thorough knowledge of site and Company policies and procedures Performs individual assignments as manager deems necessary; ensuring adequate, continuous controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality All other duties as assigned Some travel may be required CORE COMPETENCIES Commitment to company values and ethics Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately Motivation: self-starter, must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared Initiative: plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions, multitasks without oversite, prepares for problems or opportunities in advance, undertakes additional responsibilities Communication: excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact directly with customers/vendors in a professional environment Problem Solving: must have the ability to gather, articulate, analyze and solve complex problems and implement new ideas to improve processes Qualifications   QUALIFICATIONS   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
