The Staff Writer will manage all corporate messaging both internally and externally to maintain consistently with the company's public, marketing and media relation strategies. This position is responsible for the execution of content needs to support daily publishing priorities, including researching, writing, editing and distributing content.

  • Develops, writes, and edits material for articles, press releases, product launches, presentations, reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, catalogs, copy for website and related technical publications/articles.

  • Interview production and engineering personnell and does independent research to become familiar with the industry, product technologies and production methods.

  • Organizes material and completes writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

  • May write speeches, articles, and public or employee relations releases. Coordinate with marketing management team on special projects.

  • Monitor media coverage. Develop, update and distribute reports on coverage of the company in various media outlets.

  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline adherence.

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree ( in communications or writing) from a four year college or university.

  • 2 - 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Must have advanced research, writing and communication skills.

  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Must have proven ability to develop very strong relationships

  • Ability to work in a team and independently.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
