Scheduling Analyst

The Scheduling Expediter & Process Analyst is responsible for identifying issues affecting the ability to run scheduled work orders as planned and to work with Material Planning, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Scheduling and Production to eliminate or mitigate the impact of those issues.



  • Drive activities to reduce barriers to efficient production, including but not limited to reducing material shortages to the production lines.

  • Identify recurring material availability issues for root cause analysis.

  • Drive organizational process improvements based on shortage root cause analysis

  • Use the material availability detail to drive schedule updates.

  • Assist in job creation and maintenance activities.

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills including functions such as Vlookups.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining data analysis reports.

  • Ability to support a team as well as function independently.

  • Must be self-directed and motivated.

  • Ability to manage multiple detail oriented tasks while working under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.


Education and/or Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a production scheduling or planning related field.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems; Vantage or Epicor preferred.


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
