Production Control Coordinator
Summary/Objective
The production control coordinator is responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.
Essential Functions

Plan and manage production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.
Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
Complete shipping information and delivery date input.
Managing orders for several different factories and coordinate with the existing and predicted retail orders.
Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
Follow up on production and confirm on-schedule deliveries.

Prefer Bilingual (Spanish)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, You must be willing to work overtime and occasionally take and/or respond to calls outside of the standard workday.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree.
3-5 years of experience in a comparable role
Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.
