Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Responsible to expand US Ocean Cargo volume--both imports and exports Creating market research and reporting for both US imports and exports Collaborate with sales team to identify target accounts for ocean cargo expansion Support local branches to increase volume of ocean cargo Lead generation and qualification Build market and product knowledge and help to devise a communication plan to ensure that market intelligence is shared with colleagues Note:

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements, Education, and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics.
Experience in product development, planning, marketing, related to ocean cargo Experience with trade lane management and/or business development Experience working at ocean carriers is especially welcomeSkill Sets Required:
Strong market search skills Strong communication skills--must be comfortable speaking with customer directly when required Strong PC Skills with Word, Excel and Power Point.
Knowledge of Datamyne, Piers or similar databases.
