Responsibilities:
- Assist chemical batch lead maker in pouring down batches into smaller containers and label as appropriate - Must be able to read a formula, obtain special raw materials and properly blend batches per specific formula - Operate blending equipment to mix ingredients according to specified formulas and procedures - Monitor blending process to ensure proper mixing and consistency - Perform quality checks on blended products to ensure they meet specifications - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area - Maintain accurate records of production data and inventory levels - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize blending processes Requirements:
- Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment preferred - Ability to life up to 60 pounds on a regular basis - Knowledge of the proper handling of various chemicals including the use of the appropriate PPE a must - Strong work ethic - Must speak, read, and write English - Proficient in warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management - Forklift Experience a Plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Job Type:
