We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the construction industry.
This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial acumen in a fast-paced, project-oriented setting.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant's primary responsibilities include:
1.
Performing account reconciliations and month-end close duties with precision and timeliness.
2.
Managing ad hoc reporting and monthly reporting, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
3.
Preparing and analyzing financial statements, identifying trends, and providing financial insights to senior management.
4.
Participating in joint venture accounting, including tracking and reporting on financial performance.
5.
Assisting with annual audit processes.
6.
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and keeping abreast of current financial legislation.
7.
Collaborating with other departments, providing financial guidance and support to aid in strategic decision making.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
3.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
4.
Proficient in account reconciliations, month-end close duties, ad hoc reporting, and monthly reporting.
5.
Solid understanding of financial statements and joint venture accounting.
6.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
7.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial personnel.
8.
Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10.
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical practices.
