Summary:
The Customs Entry Writer must be able to follow processes as well as input accurate data into our operational system.
A understanding of basic import transactions, and the ability to accurately and efficiently process entries and Security Filings.
Accountabilities:
-Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow as outlined by the ACC Operations Manager.
-Accurate and timely data entry into operation system.
This applies to entry, delivery, and billing.
-Have a working knowledge of Incoterms, Customs regulations and logistics terminology.
-Assist with verification of Customs Declaration information and ensure all documents required to submit entries is received from the client.
-Communicate timely with the client relating information and ensure all documents required to submit entries are received from the client.
-Prepare and file Importer Security Filings.
Essential Skills, Education, and Experience -Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task strongly desired.
-Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer service including effective communications both verbal and written.
-At least 1 year industry related experience required.
Non-Essential Skills, Education, and Experience -Proficient computer skills including MicroSoft Office products.
-Work effectively and productively with others.
-Proven desire to learn and expand knowledge in industry.
