We are currently looking for seasoned CNC Operators to join our team.
Job description This position description identifies the major responsibilities of this job.
It does not include all aspects of the position such as the potential additional duties assigned by supervisors and the requirement for flexibility in helping others for the company's overall benefit.
POSITION
Summary:
This person will be responsible for set up and machining operations of one or more CNC operated machine tools for production parts and tooling.
It also performs set up and machining of manually operated machine tools.
ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, production routings, layouts and set up sheets.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
Prepare a test run to check if machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional conformance of parts.
Set-up and operate various production CNC machines including lathes, vertical mills, and horizontal mills.
Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, holding fixtures and tool holders.
Download and start-up of CNC programs.
Write simple CNC programs at the machine and make tool offsets and adjustments.
Operate manual machine tools as required.
Properly utilize machining tools such as high speed drill, carbide drill, insert drill, high speed drill, carbide drill, high speed tap, roll forming tap and boring head.
Edit and program mill utilizing the HAAS, Brothers or Agma Controller.
Plan and perform a wide variety of diversified close tolerance mill operations.
Provide training and assistance to other employees in CNC machine operation.
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Additional assignments as directed by your Supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED required CNC Certificate or Associates Degree preferred Blueprint reading and Shop math Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude required A minimum of two years' experience with CNC operated equipment, setup and programming preferred Experience with HAAS / Brothers / Agma CNC Milling Machine with CNC controller is a plus Knowledge of Fanuc Controls and G Code preferred Background and experience with short production runs, multiple setups and changeovers Must be able to work overtime which may be during the week and/or on weekends as needed We offer our staff a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account including Dependent Care, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401-K, Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
