Field Service Tech - Commissioning Equipment

We are working with a leading supplier in the snack and food equipment industry.
This organization has been around since the 1980s and have shown a proven track-record of growth and success.
Theyre looking for a Field Service Technician to join their growing team.
The main focus of this position is going to be commissioning new equipment, involved with either SAT or FATs, following through with the customer & serving as face of the company.
This equipment is typically very large, automated systems.
80-90% of the role will be the commissioning of equipment.
The majority of the work will be electrical troubleshooting (relays, switch gears, circuit boards, PLCs, etc.
) but they will need to have some mechanical and machine aptitude to be able to properly diagnose and fix the issue, whether it be electrical or mechanical.
They want someone equally strong 50/50 with electrical and mechanical knowledge and expertise.
Travel is about 50%, by plane OR by car.
This could be anywhere in the US or overseas, like Europe and Canada.
When not traveling, you will be working out of the Wood Dale facility.
Must 2
years of experience in a field service related position Experience in manufacturing environment, food manufacturing is a PLUS Experience doing troubleshooting, assembly, maintenance, PM, etc.
on the manufacturing floor -- both mechanical and electrical work Strong Electrical Skills - circuit boards, switch gears, etc.
Machinery or mechanical aptitude Confidence, Professional and Polite Recommended Skills Courtesy Electrical Installation Work Field Service Management Foods Machinery Maintenance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
